Here's the scoop:
Thinking of organizing a bunch of non-festools in systainers.
Architect friend has a laser cutter he'll let me use.
Anyone have any experience with the scanning/layout for laser cutting foam? Also any recommendations on the best foam to use?
From a little research it looks like the best approach is to cut through the foam and then back it with a contrasting color or plastic insert. Does this make the Kaizen foam overkill since I won't be digging out individual layers?
So far a little googling has only revealed a "scan the tool, trace the outline, send to laser cutter". I'm hoping someone can save me from the inevitable novice mistakes any maybe provide a little more detail than that.
Thanks in advance,
Anthony
