I’m most likely going to get a 50w co2 machine in the next couple of months, “what for?” Is still not entirely clear, but in my experience machines like this, the 3D printer, the shaper origin, just keep finding uses in the shop and around the house. My 3D printer for example has found more uses than I ever thought. Anyways, do you guys have any experience with these machines?

I have 2 xTool lasers. At the shop we use the F1 to engrave our logo on drawer box sides. I also have an S1, it works well for cutting and engraving larger items than the F1. Both being diode lasers they are limited to what color acrylics they will work with.

The xTool software is really, really good.

I own two Epilog 60w CO2 lasers.  I bought the first one almost 10 years ago and the second one a couple of years ago.  Both myself and my wife have used them for both wood and acrylic based businesses.  If you have any specific questions, I'd be happy to answer them the best I can.
