Laser rust remover ... and paint

I have a '69 Bronco that would work so well on!  Actually, it might do too well and I won't have the truck anymore!

Cheers. Bryan.

Sawstop must make the lasers...

Nah - not only was a real hand used, the laser didn't blow up and require an expensive replacement part!

Awesome tools, but dang, the price!  MSRP of the 500w version is just shy of $400,000.  Mind you, the video is showing the 1000w version, which I would assume is even pricier.  Rentable for just over $10k a month, if you've got a project that could benefit.

If it's a vehicle you're planning on stripping, look into dustless blasting.  Crushed bottle glass, suspended in water with a rust preventative.

Does it come in a systainer?  [smile]

Mike,

From appearances the gun unit might fit in a sys 4 or 5.  However, the gun unit is basically a fancy lens and on/off system.  The actual laser is generated in a power unit that's up to 150' away.  The power unit is about the size of a normal fridge lying on it's side.

So many expensive cool tools out there.  If only I could win the lottery.

Thanks for the response!  That's good to know, and yes, winning the lottery would result in a lot of nice tools for me, too!  LOL
