I now have enough information and pricing to move forward with placing orders for the Systainers themselves and the contents for the First Aid Systainers. I apologize in advance for the length of this post, but I would rather give you too much information than too little.

For you 'bottom line only' guys, here's what you need to know if you don't want to read the whole post:

Last day to order and pay = March 8, 2014

Estimated delivery date = May 15 - May 30th

Delivered cost to your doorstep = $250. This includes shipping and insurance.

What you need to do:

1. Verify that you are signed up - see list below. You may still sign up until March 8th.

2. Submit payment - Payment can be via PayPal to 'me@usmac.net' or contact me for other methods like Money Orders. If you are paying via Paypal please send it as a GIFT or I will get charged ridiculous fees which I don't have money to cover!

3. Sit back and wait for your package to arrive!

Time for a few disclaimers:

As mentioned previously, it is my intent to do this at COST and not make anything on the deal. That said, I may have set myself up for a nearly impossible task considering all the variables. I also wanted the price to be a nice 'round' number that is easy for everyone to manage, but to do that I had to make some assumptions. What I have decided is to go with my best pricing estimates and *IF* there is any 'extra' money left over once everything is paid for I will pick up spares for you to use to restock your kit. The spares - if any - will be packaged with the kits so there is no extra shipping cost.

Just so you know, some variables are:

Exact costs aren't known, and probably won't be 'down to the penny' until all orders are placed and items delivered. For instance, there are promotions from time to time that offer discounts, free shipping, etc. I am very good at negotiating, and am confident that my numbers will work out in the end. Rest assured that I will obtain the best products at the best prices.

Minimum purchase requirements exist on some items, so quantities may vary slightly. For instance, if I get more gauze pads than will fit in the lid, you might get a few extras in a baggie. And those baggies are a variable too - but not a big one!

Cost of shipping is averaged based on a 'best guess' estimate. I don't know where everybody lives, nor which addresses will be businesses and which will be residences.

Taking all that into consideration, here is how the costs were calculated:

And here are the details

• Systainer - Lt. Gray Sys 2 with attic / lid sort lid and Red latch, just like the pictures in the 'Call For Interest' thread. It should look pretty much like this:

[attachimg=#]

• Packaging - Your First Aid Systainer will ship to you in a heavy corrugated carton to guard against shipping damage.

• Shipping - is included to the 'lower 48'. If you are in Alaska or Hawaii shipping may be a little more - contact me. Shipping will be via insured FedEx ground. The package will be insured for full value.

• Weight - will be about 8 pounds for the First Aid Systainer, and about 10 pounds shipping weight.

• Lead Time - Tanos lead time is 60 days. I will do my best to minimize this if possible, but I have been told that they move on THEIR schedule and no one else's. This should be the worst case scenario, but I want to be up front about the amount of time that this may take.

• Contents - will be pretty much per the attached list, but may include some minor adjustments. You will receive AT LEAST what is listed here, and may get a bit more depending on how things work out:

I will update this thread as payments are received. When sending PayPal gift payment, please include in the comments field the following information:

Your FOG user name so I know who you are
Your full street address (no PO Boxes)
Whether this is a Business or Residential address
Your phone number (in case FedEx needs it for delivery purposes)
Your email if you want to be notified with a tracking number.

Thanks!

Note to international Dealers

Now that the price is fixed, if you have a container shipment coming from the US I would be happy to work with your freight consolidator so you could offer these kits to your customers. They could be shipped to your U.S. consolidation point at the price quoted above.

I will pay later this week. Just received a good-sized check for a recent job but it won't clear until Wednesday. Btw, if you run into problems with paypal you might check out amazons webpay system. Not sure if it has the same restrictions as PayPal but it's been easy for me to use.

I only discovered this now and don't mean to be a pain in the *** but the red cross symbol is protected by international law and it's use is reserved to the actual red cross. i don't think you will get into trouble for this but you technically could.

i have a small green-white first aid kit in my workshop, it only served me once when i made a small cut in my finger. But the blood was poring out and the kit is literally drenched in dried blood now, might wanna package together the items in sealed transparent bags dedicated to each type of use and mark it.
When i made my cut i spent minutes trying to find what i needed, while the blood was spilling all over the place.
Maybe in the lid add everything need to bandage a wound quickly and stop bleeding, so you can use both hands again to search in the box for a better solution.

Pretty sure that applies to a red colored cross on a white background and not the other way around, like they have here.  The Swiss, on the other hand, may mind about this one  ;)

WOW! Less than 24 hours have passed and 10 members have already sent payment. THANKS! I will update the list later tonight.

CoStruct, I will check on shipping to Canada and respond later. In case it matters, what's your postal code?

Priority Mail to Canada will run $45, so deducting the cost of US shipping already built into the price the difference is $25. Your total would be $275 USD if you want a kit.
