LAST CALL for First Aid Systainer Orders and Payment

FedEx says EIGHT of them were delivered Tuesday, so let's see more pictures of 'em in your shop?

One more fun little tidbit for you...

I am almost finished packing up the 'first edition' systainers, which means that all of the cases and 'over-boxes' are now empty.

So what does the packing from all of those medical supplies look like? Well, see for yourself.  Here it is on the curb waiting for the recycling people:

The bins are full of household recycling, but those boxes are about 90% medical packaging. There is over 100 pounds of cardboard and packaging being picked up to be recycled. Happy to say we were eco-friendy!

Got mine yesterday. Didn't get a chance to take pictures, but it did impress the wife (after I told her it wasn't a tool).

Mine came yesterday.  Had some bad allergies this morning and used the diphen!  Thanks!

I got mine today!!!!!!  Wow, you did an unbelievable job and I am so proud and happy to have this first aid systainer!  I'll be putting in the additions tonight.  Everything fits perfectly, and I can't imagine the time and effort it took for you to pull this off--but I am so thankful.  I work in a fairly dangerous industrial environment, and now I know that I have the right tools if, god forbid, something ever happens.

By coincidence, I had a doctor's appointment today.  So, when I take my new kit in to work tomorrow,  I'm thinking about telling all my coworkers that they hand these out to new patients    [tongue]

Thanks again Wow

Wayne.  Mine arrived today what a great job you did on this. My wife who is a GP thinks it is a great first aid and possibly if need be a great trauma kit
Thank You for this venture

Got mine today, way out here on the west coast.

Just want to say thanks again to WOW for doing all this.

Not sure everyone here realizes WOW's attention to the details. Like the post-it warped around the pen light, so it would not accidentally come on in the box.

Thanks again
Greg

Greg, What are the wooden pieces at the top of the two bottom right cabinets?  They look like the ends of your drawer slides in the other positions, but there can't be more than 1/2" of storage on them.  Do you store plans or instruction manuals?

I am going to guess that it is a hide-away shelf.  I love the ones on my desk, handy when you need them, gone when you don't!

You are welcome, of course!

And I'll bet you can never in a million years figure out what prompted me to put that little wrap of paper on there?

[wink]

I leave the post-it on mine all the time, and just slide it down to use it and then slide it right back up. Sure beats going to use it and finding out that it has died in the meantime!

Hey blk65brd:

Just so you know, FedEx couldn't deliver today because they require a signature on yours due to the value (with two kits in it). Please contact them if you won't be able to be there tomorrow so they don't ship it back to me?

The last batch of 'First Edition' Systainers shipped today, as promised. Everything shipped insured FedEx ground, except as noted. The lucky recipients are:

CarolinaNomad (via USPS to Canada)
sheeschen
DJ98cobra
Christopher Robinson
denap
andyroe
non-forum member
Oso Rojo
Neathawk
Thunderchyld
Murray Dunn (via USPS to Canada)
CinemaEffect

There were two 'late entries' that I tried to accommodate that were not part of the original order. Those FOGger's are:

Samo
wonderwino

To you two, your kits will take me just a little longer to ship. I'm pretty sure I can get them out by the middle of August, but they might just ship by the end of next week?! Keep your fingers crossed!

Thanks everybody for the kind words and for your support, but most of all for your TRUST! This was a big deal for both of us, and I am very happy that everyone is so pleased with the product!

Please continue to post pictures and comments here as you see fit. I'm having a blast seeing them in their new homes, and hearing how you use them!!!

I got mine yesterday.  The wife had to see as she used to be a nurse.  She said about the only thing missing is a suture kit.  Anyway she did make another comment when I put it out in the garage shop.  How much would the heat affect the contents since I live in the desert (avg high is 105 in mid July)?  I do usually keep it air conditioned in the MID 80s when I am not working in there.

They are just extra shelf's. They come in very handy when you need a little extra place to put something.

Also it allows me to add one more shelf if i rearrange the SysPort with smaller systainers.

Slid my down to test and put it right back in place.

Mine arrived yesterday just as I was leaving the marina to go to a family get together on the other side of the state. I unpacked it, eyeballed it, and tossed it behind the seat of my truck.
Arrived at the parents place right before my cousin and her husband, who announced as he got out of their van that he needed to remove a blackberry thorn. Ta-da! I pulled out the kit and he used the tweezers from the lid for a successful extraction. He's a pediatrician for the Army and was impressed with the kit.
Thanks again Wayne!

Received mine. Very nice. Great packing job, and the kit is well sorted. Makes me want to make an effort to commit some first aid techniques to memory.

[thumbs up]

Thank you very much for all your hard work and dedication in designing, procuring, constructing, assembling, and shipping a truly “First” aid kit.  You surpassed my expectations.  I am very grateful for your dedication.  You provided a super fantastic product, and just as important, you communicated to your customers by keeping us informed.  I hope the only thing I need it for is removing wood splinters! :)
