This is my latest project, I had a partner to help with the build.. took a long time. initial construction was quick (although I don't have any build pictures to share, this isn't that kind of forum!), it was the finishing that took the time. I have to confess that no power tools were used, although I did borrow from the Festool "plug-it" concept! Final finish was a quick buff with a towel, I forgot my Shinex + buffing pad and Surfix oil set [big grin]

Meet my little boy, born Sat 14, shall look forward to woodworking together in the future!

My own productivity on the forum shall take a bit of a hit over the next weeks

MODS: Happy for you to move this to another thread, just too tempting to post here [laughing]

fantastic [big grin] u will be too tired to build anything else for some time [wink]

Congrats!  Good looking kid.  I have two little ones myself so I know that feeling.  Keep up the good work.

Ah, the good old days...  Mine are 8 and 5 now.  Congratulations to you and your family!

Gratz! Enjoy fatherhood to it's fullest - they are small only once  [big grin]

Good work! Congratulations.
Proof that machine work will never compare with the human touch.

Congratulations on the new addition.

That's the most rewarding "project" you can complete.

Another beautifully engineered project. Think you excelled yourself this time [big grin] But where is the aluminium ?

Congratulations to both Mum and Dad.

John

Did you use 320 grit for the final surface finish? It looks baby skin smooth. [cool]

Congrats.

Very well done.  What you need now is a FOG baby grow  or jacket for him (Peter, clothing ! )

Hope you get some sleep  ;)

Woodguy.

I think it's time for Festool to come up with a program where you can set aside dollars for your kid's future tool purchases at today's prices, like some states offer for college funding.  What better way to ensure future Festool users.

Congratulations!
