Here is a photo of my latest project. It is a casket for my friend’s deceased boa constrictor.

My wife was so impressed with the casket she ordered two sixteen footers to install on the living room ceiling as faux beams.

I have a one by eight piece of pine attached to a steel I beam that supports the house that I am going to slip over with the faux beam.

I bought the pine from the local home centre and I am trying to convince myself I don’t need to scribe it to the ceiling.  Maybe a few gaps in the ceiling would add to the authenticity.

im sorry but that's hilarious, still can't tell if serious. but if a giant snake needs a casket, would you not coil it? do they die straightened out and rigor mortis sets in? where are the hinges, is it not open casket? so many questions...

You've heard the term 'stiff as a board', well this one is straight as a board too. :-)

Sorry for the loss of their pet.
