Lee Valley Sale, or the East Coast woke up early

Talk about sale items going quickly...

I was at the office early and before I began the day, I thought I would hop over to Lee Valley to checkout their Cyber Monday Sale.  Not bad, not bad.  A few items, primarily the factory seconds, were being offered at a great price and I could use one or two.  However, they were going fast!  How fast, I soon discovered.

Three times I looked at an item, thought to myself, "hey, I like this, let me check it out a bit before ordering".  Well, by the time I hopped over to the product description page and returned, usually less than 1 minute, the item was gone.  I mean, "Gone in 60 Seconds" gone.  [blink]

Good luck to all those that beat me, and most others, to the punch; or sale item as in this case.  [embarassed]

Yup, it all goes quickly....

I was up at 3:30 this AM. and in the office at 4:30. At 3:30 - we already had a number of items sell out.

I'd like to say "I wish we had more seconds" - but we try really hard not to make them.... [eek]

I was mostly hoping for Free Shipping.  I didn't really see anything I had to have.

But ryan_k helped me realize the gift card purchase was the way to go.  [smile]

I ordered a $500 gift card for $430, and no shipping charge.

I had $800 in my cart waiting for this sale so anything I'd grab would get amassed into the shipping charge.  Saw the $1,000 gift card so I had to move 25 items to "buy later" so I could buy just the card!  I hoped you could redeem the card immediately, but I guess you have to wait for the physical card to arrive.  eh, no problem... then the other 25 items will drop.

I checked last night at 9pm and the sale wasn't on. Intended to check again at 10. It started, I believe a little after 10 my time.  Didn't see anything marked sold-out so I assumed sold-out items were removed from the list.

If there are gift cards left, grab them... it's 15% off!

I think that's by design.  If you got the electronic one right away you could use your giftcard to buy more giftcards and it would just spiral out of control 

I'm excited for mine, going to pick up a OF 1400EQ and a Kreg router table for my Triton.
