I've been doing a lot of demolition, dismantling and removal lately and I try to bring as few tools as possible into the work area.
A couple of months ago I stumbled over this 6-in-1 Phllips & Pozidriv 1-2-3 screwdriver when one of my suppliers, BTI, sold them at a promotional price. I would have never expressly searched for a screwdriver like this, it just happened to catch my eye while ordering what I really needed/ came for in first place.

Something about this screwdriver felt strangely familiar. And giving it a close look:

I have seen this type of tip before. And if you have that same feeling, you probably own a Victorinox brand Swiss Army Knife or one of their multitools - or maybe even both just like me. [big grin] [wink] And something that I had never given much thought before is that their so called "Phillips screwdriver" works really well on both Phillips and Pozidriv and easily fits #1 as well as #2, I don't think I have ever used/tried one on a #3. Now the "handle situation" on both SAK and Multitool basically prohibit and longterm use, it's a tool for when no other tool is around and I'm pretty sure the screwdrivers on those have saved many Christmases, when the battery compartment of that new firetruck was firmly held shut by a pesky screw. [wink]

Now that I have used it for a couple of months I feel pretty sure about recommending this screwdriver for demolishing/dismantling/removal work and/or as part of a minimalist tool bag.
I would not recommend using it on delicate projects/ screws that remain visible, you will never achieve the same fit/seating as with the correct drive's tip.
But if you encounter various size PH and PZ screws, maybe even some slotted-PH or slotted-PZ combination drive ones on pipe clips and the like - that simply need some tightening or to come out - this screwdriver is perfect!
It's originally manufactured by Projahn and available as:
Regular size, hex shaft, hex collar (to use with wrench)

Stubby size, hex shaft

VDE/ insulated, regular size

Kind regards,
Oliver
