Lighting options in the workshop

My shop now is all LED hanging strip fixtures I look for “warm” on the description. Recently, I’ve added what Amazon calls garage lights. They look like miniature ceiling fans. Some have 3 steerable panels and some have 5. They screw into a light bulb socket. Some are ok bright and some are extremely bright. All of mine have a pull cord off on switch.

I switched to 5000K LED shop lights and spaced them about 4 feet apart; made a massive difference with way less shadowing, especially over the bench and tool areas.
I also installed 5000K Barrina LEDs 8' long, spaced about 40" apart and they sit at the 7-1/2' level. They provide 3x-4x more light output than the original 8' fluorescents. I put some of the Barrina LEDs on occupancy sensors so that they turn on when I hit the bottom of the stairs...very nice.

Yes I did Jeff...it's been in use for about a year now with no burnout of the sensor or LEDs...let's just hope. 🙏🙏🙏

I could swear I had commented here on the FOG regarding the Barrina 5000K fixtures for their CCT and CRI values, but maybe that was in a different thread. I have a Sekonic C-800 and I measured the lights as being very close to the stated CCT and the CRI value is around 82 (maybe higher), IIRC. I'd have to check the R9 values (reds).
