This and its little brother the 33 were on sale for ~$230-250 last week and I passed on them but at $180. .heck a Ridgid shop vac goes for $100. The ability to mount systainers and use Festool hoses is amazing value.
Here's a video from ACME tools unboxing of the 33:
Thanks
Being made by Nilfisk (who makes Festool as far as I know) it's no surprise it shares so many similarities with the CT I already own. The limiting factors will be 1) No Bluetooth ability and 2) I believe it uses a 16ga power cord whereas Festool uses 12ga. Something to consider if you want to run bigger tools off of it. I dug through the manual and it appears to offer about 5A to the tool outlet.
OK I bit on this deal (thanks [member=65062]DynaGlide[/member] )- was looking to get rid of my old craftsman. Any suggestions on replacement dust bags or long life bags for this?
Thanks
I should be getting a commission. .that's 3 sales ;D Looking at ACME tools website it appears the same 5 pack of fleece bags works on both the 33 and 44:https://www.acmetools.com/shop/tools/flex-accessories/flex-445088 . I'm toying with the idea of adding a Festool Cyclone to the top some day.
