Good Morning Every Body,

Help me get this straight in my head.

MicroPoo is digging in to their own pocket for live search?

Come on you know why I am asking.

You don't?

I don't begrudge anyone saving a buck on Festool.

Hell, if I saved 200 clams on a Kapex, I would be giddy.

And you would be pissed.

And so would my career long dealer who lost the sale.

Somebody wanna help me wrap my mind around this?

I need a Mac Pro.  ;D

Well, Per,

At first glance, this looks like MicroPoo's answer to Discover Card.  Hey, Sears has a credit card. So does Amazon. Then, there's Google checkout.

Maybe Festool is next. Then we could have a contest for the FesCard design.

Hi Per,

It's just another loyalty scheme.

And YES you do need a Mac Pro

Per,
I didn't know about this before.
Why is it that everything that appears on the Microsoft Web page is so convoluted and confusing?
Where's Clippy when you need him?

Matthew,

Everything Microsoft is convoluted and confusing.
Everything.
Always been that way. All ways will.

Back to this  bribe to search thingy.
It is too little too late.

I just wanna know how they pick their vendors.
Does the vendor need to sign up?
I would suppose.
Does the vendor kick a percentage of the discount to cover microsoft?
Good Question, maybe.
Does this in anyway give a advantage to dealers with a sneaky way to discount
a fixed price item?

Lets face it 200 bucks is 200 bucks.
Damned near a tank of gas. :'(

200 dollars for all intents and purposes IS a tank of diesel here in the uk

its now averages at 1.30 GB pound a litre

theres one garage in the news charging 1.99 pound a litre

driven at 56 mph my van [90 kph, the most economical speed]

2.5 litres engine capacity, does 400 miles a tank

reduce that by milage per tank by a third for motorway driving at 70 mph

If my quick and dirty calculations are correct, that's about $9.85 per (US) gallon.  What's the whining like there?

Oh man, Dave

10 bucks a gallon here, I would make a fortune selling torches and pitchforks

to the villagers.  They are just going to increase the price slowly for acclimatization

and kill my possible windfall.
