Lock for acrylic sheet?

Curious if anyone has a good solution that isn't ugly for installing a small lock in a clear acrylic sheet? I am building a display case and the frame is wood but the opening is a single piece of acrylic.

How much of a 'lock' does it need to be?

You could use grub screws with secure torx / trefoil / or dual indents that are very difficult to open that would leave a much cleaner finish than a lock.

I like this idea but I will have to think more about how I would use it in this application. Thinking I would use the bolt almost like a "set screw" where it would be relatively out of view. The biggest drawback is for those using it in the store. A key is just easier but the locks are very distracting.

Could you not have some kind of shoot bolt or pin or a bar which goes in front.  Either top to bottom of just slight comes up from bellow and above which then has a hole for a pad lock which would be on top underneath (out of view) to stop the removal of the pins or rod.?
