I join them with 2 dominos and 2 screws. easy and fast to assemble and no one can see the screws as they are ganged together..

To hang, I gang 2 together and screw to studs once they are all hung and screwed together they arent going anywhere.

Agree, but in this case, I didn't want the vertical cabinet walls to be double-thick, so just ganging two boxes together wasn't an option.

These are in the garage, so I didn't really care, but they were serving as practice/proof of concept for something my wife wants somewhere else.
