Hi guys,
I'm in Washington DC for a few days and was wanting to go to a store that sells Festool and/or nice hand tools. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Daniel

Glen Echo Hardware is just outside of DC, right up the Potomac, that's were I get most of my stuff.  It is a tight space so not great for browsing, but if you are buying they have pretty much everything and are helpful.  Hand tools, no where in town that I know of.

Thanks bigjonh, I might check that place out. I do not have a Festool dealer close to where I live and was hoping to actually get a chance to go to one.

There is a Woodcraft in Springfield, VA which isn't too far from DC. There is also one in Leesburg, VA which is about 20 minutes west of Dulles airport.

I live right in DC.  Capitol Building Supply is right in town and stocks Festool.  Down by The baseball stadium.  If you've got some time to kill and a car, Fries Belle and Sharpe in Lorton, Va is a great tool shop with a lot of hand tools, Festool and other good brands.  The Woodcraft in Springfield is pretty good as Woodcrafts go.
