Looking for a lead safe vacuum to compliment my CT 15; Starmix? Nilfisk?

my CT 15 is relegated to shop/garage duty. i'm looking for something to use in the home (my house is 100 years old and i have a 1-year-old).

i'm starting to get analysis paralysis. the backpack style made by the likes of ProTeam seem to get mixed reviews. Starmix, Nilfisk and Bosch seem to get pretty decent reviews but then i'm stuck on which models to compare.

hoping to keep my spend around $300.

thanks for any and all advice.

I don’t think your going to get one of those brand vacs for $300.

Also pretty sure you’re not going to find any HEPA rated vac for that price either.

So, you’ll need to adjust your wants or increase your budget.

I think your best option is to get a CT MIDI or MINI from the recon site as it will be close to your budget and with a simple wand available from Amazon, it would satisfy most, if not all, your requirements and will even double for use doing homework renovations without needing to get your CT15 from the garage/shop.

If you buy from Recon, be aware that sometimes they sold older models on Recon.  So if you want a bluetooth, know the bluetooth model # before you bid.  Bags and filters are different in older models, (anything with new filter, or bag build after mid 2019) so at some time those parts will be harder to get.

i LOVE my Festool vac but, frankly, the form factor makes it somewhat difficult to drag around the house and clean up (and this is the CT 15 probably one of the most portable). further, i've yet to find a good, all-around traditonal attachment.

that is why i was looking to other brands. i threw the $300 number out there but i'm not afraid to spend around $500 if it checks most of my boxes.

i'm also not completely opposed to another Festool unit. essentially i just need 2; one designated for true work and the other for day-to-day cleanup. we have a Miele but we only use that on rug and carpet as i don't want to be sucking up paint chips and dust with a non-HEPA unit.

thanks again.

some models i'm considering:

Atrix VACOMEGAH
ProTeam LineVacer
ProTeam SuperCoach
Advance Euroclean GD930
Nilfisk 26
Festool CT15 (another one?)

What about a CT-SYS?  Full HEPA, I think they make a carrying strap for it, right in the middle of your price range (or on the lower price range if you found one on Recon)
