I recently upgraded my old Rockler MDF table to the Sawstop cast iron. I use it with the Incra version of the mastr lift ll with magnetic rings (the version that have the dust slots cut into them). I’ve been real happy with it so far.
Back some time when Rockler bought Bench Dog I bought a BD cast iron router table. The surface was too concave to use. They sent a replacement and it was much better but still not really flat. Shimming up the insert table made it usable.
