Lousy Sevice from my local dealer

I apologize for not participating much as of late. We have been very, very busy at the store and having allot of fun. Hope to spend more time on the forum in the near future.

Cheers
Dan Clermont

Dan I was in Vancouver on Monday and had the chance to visit your store. I think I had more fun playing with all you festools and that funny dog of yours then visiting KMS and Lee Valley. Your wife was very helpful with tons of knowledge, she even made coffee.

Loved all those big machines as well.

thx

Sorry to hear about reseller woes in Canada.  Are you inFrench speaking Canada? Is it a French speaking problem perhaps?

The issue was not a language issue, it was a service issue.

I have since cancel my order with the local dealer (CEJ) got my deposit back, drove 50Km (30 miles for our American friends) to Chas Genmantel and purchased $1,598.50 worth of Festool plus taxes.

Yes, they are in Quebec, but that is nothing to do with the lousy service. As mentioned above, Gentmantel in Montreal offers very good service and has a well-stocked Festool inventory.

I will second that, customers get first class service with both Kurt (owner) and Denis Lamarche.

CEJ made it on my Black List of places never to do business with again.

Thanks to Shane also into helping me to solve the issue.

Hey Lambeater, Sorry I missed you . Had some errands to run and my wife and "Buddy" manned the store. Glad you enjoyed the coffee and hope you stop in next time you are in the store.

Thanks

Just a follow up for the local guys thinking of buying anything at CEntre d'Electricite Jeromien in St-Jerome Quebec.

This business is currently operating under the bankruptcy protection act (Our American friends call this Chapter 11). [scared]

Got the new from an employee.

Be careful about leaving a deposit, you might not get what you ordered and risk loosing your money.
