Hi All,

Was setting up my LR 32 base plate and noticed it didn't run smooth. When I watched some of the LR32 video's it seem there it was running a smoother.

Now I did -for once- read the manual  [tongue], and lo and behold there are screws to the side that should fix it [tongue]!

Well, so I thought. Armed with my flathead I drove both screws out (see attached picture), expecting there should be no friction. But still can't say its riding
smooth  :-\

Ideas, thoughts, solutions?

Many thanks!

I have 3 "holy" rails for the LR32.  2 of the 3 rails the plate runs very smoothly on, the third one, not nearly as smooth.  This could be an issue with the protrusion the rail being a little wider than others.  I used a non-silicone dry lubricant and that did help.  If that doesn't fix the issue I suppose you could carefully sand/polish black plastic gibs until the plate rides smoothly.

Thank you all.

I ended up with unscrew both screws on top, although the manual says you should do the sides. Seated the plate on the rail and tight-end them again. After it needed slight adjustment with the side screws.

It seems much better now.
