I'm looking at the chaostheroie cabinet build. I understand the lr32 index guide has two fixed positions. 16mm and 32mm from the panel end. On the video it looks like the series of holes start about 10mm from the end to accommodate the connectors. Is this position also on the index guide ?

There is a 9.5mm setting on the guide but I have not used it so I don't know what its for.

The 9.5mm setting is used for connectors at the top and bottom of sides of bookcases, for example. 9.5mm is exactly half of 19mm. You'll find it commonly used by companies like Ikea on their flat-pack furniture.
