LR32 jig

Well I got another commission for a custom cabinet for a bathroom. I picked up the LR32 jig to do the adjustable shelves. The problem I'm having and ill be honest I haven't really spent a lot of time with the jig(maybe I'm just being lazy but id rather just ask here then do trial and error). What's the smallest width you can use with  the jig. The cabinet I'm doing has a top portion that the customer only wanted 8" deep. So after the 3/4" of the face frame that leaves about 7". Any help or suggestions would be great.

As long as you place another piece next to it to support under the guide rail for the jig, you should be fine with an 8" deep cabinet.   

Since you are using a face frame, I assume you won't mount 32mm cup hinges.

Given that, I'd probably run the holes about 1" in from the back and 1" in from the face frame to reduce any chance of the shelf 'tipping' when you take something on or off.  That would give you a 5" or so spread between the front and back rows of 32mm holes.

As long as you can get the 37mm set back you should be good.

I built a 6-inch deep vanity with a face frame and, just as recommended above , 1-inch in for the holes.  To prevent tipping I used shelf support legs like this which allows small screws which physically attaches the support to the shelves and makes them unmovable.
