I just picked up the lr32 set because I am making cabinets. Is there a standard depth to drill for 5mm pin? Not sure if there is a industry standard. Ive used 1/4 in pins in the past, but first time with 5mm. Wasn't going to buy any pins till the cabinets were installed. Thanks

I drill them between 8-11 mm deep, in 18mm (3/4") wood depending on whether I am using shelf pins or Euro-screw hinge plates.  I think it really doesn't matter so long as pins don't bottom out, and the hole doesn't come out the other side.

Thanks for the replies. Everything I was reading just said set router with a pin on the depth stop. I really didn't want to buy the pins yet because I'll lose them before I need them, I know myself. I was just going to reference my 1/4 pins I have, but remembered 'takes less time to ask a stupid question than it does to fix a stupid mistake.'
