I’ve happily used my Kapex 120 for years. Lately, it has gotten more difficult to rotate the base. Yes, I do fully depress the rotation lever while turning the base. I also thoroughly vacuum the exterior of the Kapex before quitting in the evening. The Kapex gets light use and is treated gently while in use.

Is there a way to lubricate the rotational bearings? I’ve looked on YouTube with no luck.

I have read and heard similar in the past, and loosening the pivot nut slightly seems to sort it.
Apparently there is a conical washer under the nut, that can stiffen the movement up over time?
I have had other saws in the past that tightened up, I had to remove the fence, the pivot nut etc, then clean and lubricate, re torque the pivot nut, or count the turns when removing.
For many Kapex owners though, just slightly loosening the nut is enough.
