Just got this new multi head drill driver. I wanted to store in a Systainer 1. So I formed up some Kaizen foam. Always like the way the Kaizen foam turns out. Makes for a nice storage solution in a Systainer.

Good move. I fell into the free battery trap with this tool and bought one. Soft case won't cut it now that I'm a tool box snob.

I need to do the same.  I held off on M12 tools, but then needed a right angle, then not much longer I bought this tool.  It's often underpowered and can't get the screw in, but darn if the offset head isn't useful.

I re-case all my tools, thus prefer ones that just come with the bag.  Tools that come with cases make me not so eager to destroy the case.

I'm working on an Ultimate M12 Fuel Systainer which includes the Installation Driver as well as the Surge driver, batteries, charger, bits and a couple other items.  I'm testing out fitting it in a SYS-3 and posting pics on Instagram.  I'm simultaneous working on the Ultimate Socket Systainer.  I'm still waiting for some of my M12 items to come in, the Installation Driver must have sold well because it seemed out of stock a couple weeks ago when I ordered mine.

I did some work on my Ultimate M12 Systainer last night.  I also got a tracking number for my Installation Driver to arrive on Friday.  Yahoo!

[member=68900]Systainer.Store[/member] did you ever finish your M12 setup?

I did!  It has been in use for about a year now.  I've got a bunch of pictures on Instagram feed.  Here is another one of the completed unit.

After a year of use, one thing I learned is my 3D print bit holders need to be tighter or detented better so the units stay tight when the lid is opening and closing.

Nice job Tim,

I run 2-CXS drills, chucks, bits, etc. in one Systainer.

Definitely think the market is out there for these custom setups but may not be cost effective to make?

My belief is that Systainer.Store can provide parts and pieces.  I believe that many that own Systainers are craft and handy to some extent.  So If I provide the right "building blocks" and the inspiration, much like the inspiration I get on this forum, that it will help individuals build out their systainers.

Now, my short fall with this plan is time to design and stock the building blocks!

Very nice Systainer  [big grin]

Maybe there is room to add some adhesive Velcro to the back of the but sets to help them stay in place? If you say they’re falling off after a bump. .

Would you have some pictures for your setup? I'm thinking doing the same thing, but would be great to see how others did it.

What thickness foam did you use ? this is very slick, what size systainer is that ?

The systainer is a T-Loc III, which in Systainer3, you may use the M 237 which is slightly taller if you want to fit all this gear.  If you didn't do the lid items, you might be fine with a M 187.

As for foam thickness, I don't recall off the top of my head.  I bought a few sizes, and then crafts things as I went along.

Put this together recently for my Milwaukee Drill/Driver using a Red 137 Sys3 I bought from Systainer.store. Was able to request it with the black handle and latch so that was really nice.

When I remove the bit box on the left I was able to fit half of a another bit box underneath. Also left some space for future stuff I want to add to this case.

Got the decals on eBay. Printed some stickers for the label on the front.

WOW!  That is super sweet looking with the labels from Ebay.  Do you mind if I report this on the Systainer.Store instagram account?  Nice job [member=73549]ToolGuy42[/member] !!

Thanks! Sure thing [emoji106]

I’m considering trying to paint the smaller handle black too but unsure how to do it in a way that will last being handled often without rubbing off.

Maybe just wrapping it in black tape will suffice?

I guess if I ever get a black sys3 I can take the handle off one of those. Lol.
