I bought this new about 2012. It has very low mileage, sat on shelf, to show my friends most of its life. I am selling to raise funds for more tools. Its a beast of a plane, approx. 12lbs, and almost 12 inches long. It cuts like butter, a true joy to use. Its very hard to keep clean. you have to know how to polish metal to make it look its best. Its obvious from the pix, I am not well versed in polishing metal. Brass does scratch easy. I wiped some tool protection wax on it, so pix looks a bit cloudy.
The handle can be placed in 3 positions. Not sure of the wood, its ultra hard. A NZ native wood working from memory. I could be wrong..
