MAC vs PC

My wife got me an iPod accessory for my birthday.  It wasn't really something I needed, so I wanted to return it.  She bought it online.  It was nearly a month ago.  I took it into the local Apple store and asked to return it.

"Sure".

I gave him what I thought was the receipt.  It was the packing slip.  There was no price on it.

He asked me what we paid for it.  I didn't have my wife's credit card.  Neither of these issues were a problem.  He returned it for cash, full price, no questions asked, no analyzing or scrutinizing anything.  He just cheerfully returned it.  It was so fast and trouble free.  It really blew my mind.

It was puzzling.  Had I habituated to low quality, high suspicion treatment?  Why was a retailer being really decent such a foreign concept to me?

This is why I'll buy Apple products in the future, even if they are more expensive.

Bob,

In case you didn't here the news, the iMacs have been updated as of yesterday.  Better performance.  Go to apple.com and check it out.

Didn't know that you had progressed to the stage of getting emails.  OOPS!

Ignore the other guy whose son in law works for Ap_le.  [ban]

All in fun John!

Well I have had my Imac for a while now and Ipad and MacbookPro.

At first I HATED the Imac and MacBook Pro and thought the Ipad was just okay.   I was thinking of getting my PC back out and my laptop!
Also I have loads of Apps for my work carpentry.  Okay some of them are Iphone apps cus unfortunately they have not made a Ipad version but they still work just as good.  I like the roofing app and baluster apps really handy! No need for a roofing sqaure!

JMB

would you mind listing the other apps you use besides the roofing and baluster apps.

We Mac & iPad /iPhone us ere can always use a little advice.

Thanks (from my iPad2, needed for the video)
