made an oops

If you care about aesthetics you could get a rattle can with some aluminium colour. There are many high quality paints out there which mimics natural coloured aluminium.

I did my TS 75 blade cover. It is probably some OCD in this  [embarassed] but practical as well.
The former owner of the saw had used a 216mm blade, and this had carved 3mm leaving sharp edges. In the situation I would Tahoe the cover off, cleaning out saw dust build up I could easily score my fingers.
So, I decided to fill it and paint it. Filler was just zink filler, primer and matching rattle can to Festool RAL grey color.

I don’t regret doing it, it’ll now be even smother to clear out build up saw dust:

Vestal,  Neat repair. JB Weld is great stuff, but don’t get it on your fingers. Difficult to remove.

Haha, the proof of «doing something» - Like Sikaflex; wears off over some days [big grin]
Well done with the repair!
