I just canceled the pre-order for the CARVEX.

I am almost ready to buy the P1CC, any thoughts bad or good?

Awesome jigsaw! I looked at ordering one when the original Carvex was cancelled and hesitated due to price and lack of info online. I bought one a few months ago and just wish I had picked it up sooner.  Here's a link to a thread I started on it.

from what ive handled of the carvex, it seems just a more expensive trion with a disco light on it. I own and like the trion and so no need to upgrade to the carvex. the only thing I like about the carvex is that awesome trammel arm, which festool made cleverly incompatible with the trion If iw was in need of a new jigsaw right now I'd fork out for the mafell, but for now I'm fine with my trion

There's been a lot of posts about this tool already on this forum. The general consensus is that the Mafell P1cc is the best Jigsaw on the market right now.

You get what you pay for...

I have done my best to match images of Mafell blades with the identical Bosch blade packages.  Blades with a Mafell logo cost about twice as much as an identical Bosch blade.  Check the p1cc message forum for more info.
