also plan to do this on my jigsaw but will need to order a sys 2(sys 1 not deep enough)

mt55 and duo doweller are both in  a sys4,biscut jointer is in a sys3,differences in the t-loc lid meant that the duo doweller had to go into a deeper sys than it was in before, the inserts are the original classic ones and hadn't to be altered, these t-locs were provided by Warren(toolfest, system container, protool) and i would like to thank him for a great service,Adrian

And when do you plan to use these tools? [tongue]

Troll
all these have been well used with the exception of the fein which i only got a couple of months ago and have been still using my old bosch.

Cool! Where did you get the stickers? Next step is to plug-it them! No T-loc or plug it, on even the best tools is a deal breaker for me.

hi tim,i just peeled the stickers off the old classic systainers, they re-adhered easily, didnt even have to glue them which was great,i saw a post recently were someone(was it you?) put a plug-it on their mt55 but i would be worried as others have had problems with their plug-it connections and as the mt55 has such a good flexible and long cord i thought i wouldnt take the chance.

I really wanna own a mafell tool someday. I own 22 festool tools,(mostly sanders) but I can't wait to buy a mafell.  Tell me what you like most about mafell vs festool

great looking tools,    i love that orange t-loc for the fein      any idea where i could get my hands on one of those?

Hi Adrian,
are you wearing your Mafell base cap when you are using the tools ?  :)  Looks great, especially the Tanos ones with the red handles.

That will probably have been me :)
As long as you solder the leads together neatly and isolate each one you shouldn't run into any problems. I've made sure the connection is very solid. The only problem I can see with plug-it leads is dirt or sawdust getting into them, causing a bad connection or short.
But I think that risk is rather minimal, unless of course you put the tool on the ground all the time...

Nice stuff indeed!
But you should use the T-Loc labels, below is an example for the MT55.
The Fein systainer is a little dull, you should get a black knob and handle like the one below.
I'm also thinking of ordering 2 of these for my Fein SuperCut and angle grinder.

Neeleman
that is a great looking label, very professional
Is this something you did yourself ? If so is it possible to make similar for other tools ?
I'm sure it must be very time consuming, I wouldn't know where to start.
Any chance you may be offering these to FOG members ?
Cheers Peter

Hello Festool Fishy
Yes I can make labels, both for Classic and T-Loc systainer. And for all kind of machines from all manufacturers.
For the Classic systainer labels I print them on Avery self-adhesive sheets that do stick better then the Festool ones.
For the T-Loc systainers I print them on Sigel credit card sheets which are non adhesive.

Yesterday I did send 23 labels for a FOG member in the UK who also asked me to make the labels for him.
Of course I ask a little compensation for the labour, materials and postage.
Please don't hesitate to ask me through my personal e-mail.

Below are some examples.

T-Locks change everything about systainers.  Really nice how Tanos offers color options....I can see using the colors as an identifier without looking at labels.

As for the Festool vs. Mafell conversation its not really like comparing car companies since Mafell has tools that Festool doesn't make and vise-versa.  Each company has tools that are unique to themselves and cannot be compared......Such as the Domino or KSS 300.
