Hi Adrian,
are you wearing your Mafell base cap when you are using the tools ?  :)  Looks great, especially the Tanos ones with the red handles.

Ingo

Ingo of course i wear it(thanks to you),i'm also pleased with the red t-locs

Those look awesome! Need to find a way source for the red t locs here!
if you can get the ordinary light grey tanos t-locs then you could order the red catch and handle and swap them

I really wanna own a mafell tool someday. I own 22 festool tools,(mostly sanders) but I can't wait to buy a mafell.  Tell me what you like most about mafell vs festool
i have more festool gear than mafell and apart from the track saws and jig saws(perhaps a few others)the two companies range differs and  so they are not in competition for the most part, any mafell tool i have bought i have found to be superb, well thought out, thouroughly tested and fantastically engineered, definitely worth the extra money

Hi guys,

I've made some quick calculations based on the outside measures of the Multimaster case VS the Systainer II

Fein case: 13344 cm3
Systainer II: 18644 cm3

That's huge difference: Systainer being 25% smaller !

Since when does a larger number indicate a smaller size  ??? ??? (Other than wire gauge)

I like the orange sys2 for the multimaster, but NAINA last I checked for the custom colors.

I really like that Fein Systainer too, the insert is brilliant. I'm going to browse to systemcontainer.co.uk right after I finish typing this sentence.  ;D

*edit* 2.1 To purchase from us you need to be resident in England, Wales or mainland Scotland. We cannot ship to locations outside the British mainland.
UGH :(

That's odd I'm sure Warren used to ship to the US. Pm toolfest (Warren) he will confirm whether or not he can ship to you

Love that orange for the Fein stuff but I think I'm gonna get rid of mine in favor of the RO90?

Ah yes ... a fundamental problem with the Metric system [wink] [big grin]

Might want to edit that earlier post, still not sure of your findings.

That orange looks like the same color as the MIRKA systainer.  If it is you might check with them.

I thought Mirka was yellow?

The brand colours might not be exactly the same but Tanos has the following choices:
Fein orange RAL 2011
Mirka yellow RAL 1007 made for Mirka with logos
Both with black handles and knobs they look nicest.

I sure would like to have somewhere to get the colored Tanos systainers here in the US.

Unfortunately this doesn't help you Bhend18 but it might help my Canadian brothers on the forum...

Today I just received my Tanos Orange Systainer just like skinee's with the Fein insert from feldercanada.com. I ordered the Anthracite coloured Systainer from their website originally because orange wasn't available. One of the store's employees (or possibly the owner?) emailed me asking if I wanted to pickup the Systainer locally, I declined because I wouldn't be on that end of town anytime soon. But in the same email I made a comment that it was too bad that he didn't sell the orange T-Loc handles for Systainers and that I would have to pick one up from Lee Valley. So this person wrote me back offering me an Orange Systainer and now I'm elated. :)

I would take a picture to show you guys but I'm a little embarrased, Troll would be justified in asking me when I plan to use this Fein of mine. Truth be told, I bought it a few months ago and never used it, I probably could've used it at my friend's new house on a project but I used my new Rotex 150 instead. Today I had to take off the original reusable zip-ties that came with the power cord, it's that new.

Ok now I want that orange Systainer for my Fein Multimaster...

I am pretty sure that you will have better access to colored Systainers in France than here in the USA. I think with a little searching you can probably find one.

Kofferfunshop in Bonn has them in all sorts of colours, including handles and front knobs.
