I'd like to make a set of fir vertical beaded doors for my garage and have my overhead door installer put them in.  I'll probably sandwich foam in between thin sheet goods and nail beaded fir boards on and then cut the large panel into strips to have the bead be continuous but I'm wondering if anyone know what kind of joint is in between the panels?  Is it a specific profile of just a tongue and groove with the edges radiuses cut on a 10-15 degree angle?

I would use a lap joint for water/wind penetration resistance.  That said, I'd bevel the inside lap by 20° or so to make raising and lowering work more smoothly.  Forget T&G.
