[big grin]I was so happy with my first recon tool, that I ordered a couple more, then another, then a couple more, then another...what can I say...they're still coming in.  At any rate, this is my first experience with the recon sale and it's been awesome.  Yes, I could have purchased new and had the great warranty, but at these prices, I couldn't resist getting knee deep in Festools.  My customer service experience has also been so good with Festool, that I'm sure if there was a real problem with one the tools, they'll make good on it, so I'm not concerned about that.  I expected some dings and scratches, but so far, everything has looked brand spankin.  I did however, go 20% on everything, so maybe that's why.
My only regret is that I missed out on a Domino XL, but I'll keep checking back for it.  I had no plans of getting one, but now I'm hooked.  Thanks Festool!
 
Add me to that list!  I've only been introduced to the brand for about a month.  I did pick up one recon item, the baby domino, and called them last week about a few parts that were damaged.  One week later I've got a new fence height gauge and new cross stops (I only needed one cross stop scale but they sent the whole kit).  Very quick and efficient with minimal effort on my part!  I always hate looking at the CC bill after I've purchased an expensive item, but long after that bill has been paid, I remember how pleasant it was dealing with the company behind the product.  I absolutely hate wasting time chasing down warranty issues and following up with companies on trivial matters and appreciate it when a company treats me like my time is valuable.  Can't wait to acquire some of the other power tools on my list.  If only I wasn't "financially constrained"!  :)
