I was looking on ebay and noticed this available. It's the first time I've seen such a thing and it proves the old adage that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

They are made by Tanos, just like the Systainers (see http://tanos.de/default.asp?navid=100000&lid=En&oid=000), no imitation there, just different colour

Thanks mattfc. I never knew that as I thought they were exclusive to Festool as their own unique product. I can't see any stockists listed in the UK for them. Do you know if they are available over the counter anywhere? I'd like some more Systainers for other tools, etc but I don't know if Festool's prices for an empty one is as good as you can find? You have to admit, they are a brilliant concept.
 
Yes, I posted about these a while ago. I bought two - they come complete with the foam inserts.

Bargain at that price!!!

Just a shame they only do Sys1's, I would've bought some 2's, 3's, 4's & 5's if they had them!

As Matt says, they are all made by Tanos, which is part of the same group as Festool. Many, many European tool manufacturers use them - they sometimes pop up on eBay in different colours, from DeWalt, Makita, and many others.

There was an earlier thread where I posted pics of many different versions.
 
Japan Woodworker has many other Systainers and Sortainers available - Tanos brand I believe. I purchased a couple and they are exactly the same as the Festool Systainers. Nice thing is they have additional versions and a few color choices. I really like the 5 drawer - same as the 4 drawer Sortainer with one more large drawer. Very handy for my needs.

Peter I bought 3 of these from my local Festool dealer he also sells Metabo stuff and they got the METABOX (systainer) cases free with the some drills they bought in which had cases anyway so they sold off the Metabox cases for 14.99 each. I bought 3 for screws etc, they had 3 left the other day if you want some they are not that far from you and it would save you the 6.99 p&p. they came with an insert for an sds drill.
