Matching TS55 (2020) to Nilfisk vac

I just think CT at the end means it is a hose or connector meant to be used with a vac like the CT/CTL/CTM/CTH vacs.

To distinguish it from other hoses like those for the CMS or the pre-separator.

Apparantly the CT is short for cleantec, the ct at the end of the hosename is for "cleantec extractor sleeve", which is the name for the bajonetstyle hoselock. (The vacs themselves are called cleantec aswell)

The hoses with the oldstyle smooth hose-ends are also meant to be used with a a CT vac, but don't have the CT at the end of the hosename. (I don't know if I missed any, but it seems bo be only the 36 to 32 mm hoses and the 50 mm hoses.)

Odd Frank-Jan - surely most (all?) recent TS55's have that bayonet (cleantec) connection?
CT makes more sense for CleanTec though!

CleanTec is the name of Festool vacs since they made their first CTL model, like 20 years ago. Yes, that's explained on their website. How do you explain a name? You just give it.

I know. And I DID look at all the vac accessories. And I saw there were hoses with, and without CT at the end of the hosename.
The difference between those hoses is not that the ones without the CT at the end are not meant to be used with a CT vac, because all hoses are, but that they don't have the bayonet fitting, which festool themselves describes in the description of those hoses as a feature called "cleantec extractor sleave".
