Apparantly the CT is short for cleantec, the ct at the end of the hosename is for "cleantec extractor sleeve", which is the name for the bajonetstyle hoselock. (The vacs themselves are called cleantec aswell)
The hoses with the oldstyle smooth hose-ends are also meant to be used with a a CT vac, but don't have the CT at the end of the hosename. (I don't know if I missed any, but it seems bo be only the 36 to 32 mm hoses and the 50 mm hoses.)
