Maxi systainer connectivity

On many websites it states that the maxi systainer can be connected to sys1s thru sys5s. But on the Festool USA site it says they cannot be connected. I assume the latter is correct. Can anyone confirm?

Also, do the sys mini's fit inside the maxi or regular systainers snuggly and if so, in what proportions? Thanks!

That video shows the classic (old style) Systainers, I don't know if the new T-Locs attach Maxi or not.

They attach just fine.
