Has anyone got the same wobble once the angle chuck is locked on? Mine moves(wobbles left and right by a mm or more. Should I have this replaced by TTS?
Register on the Festool website, leave out the bit for dealer address. And just click next, works just fine. Then I can't get the date to go to 9 December 2014. It refuses to change 12 November 2014 to December. Every time I I spin the selector to December it spins back to November.
So now I can't register my pdc as every time I restart app it already has the details of the pdc and the date of November. If I could change the date I could move onto the next part of the registration process.
Any ideas how to proceed as I don't want to lose one months of cover?
I wonder if that happened to me. I registered fine on the app but when I checked the printout of the warranty I got it said it runs out in November 2017 . So it must have slipped back one month when I registered on the apptazprime38 said:I tried registering my pdc using the app but cant get it to work properly. Mark, try the speed with the torque setting on the drill right across to the right as your holding it. Cause I got the dewalt also, and thought that was fast.mr-gobby said:Not registered mine or used them (I bought a pair but tbh I only really need 1 now I've seen it's fast chuck and how easy it is to use) now in fiddling about checking stuff I thought to spin them up together - (yep, looking like a gun slinger in the dining room) and noticed they sound different to each other, I just expected them to sound identical I suppose, anyone else got a pair noticed that? Also I run them up beside my Dewalt dcd985 and they don't 'seem' to spin as fast despite being rated at 0-3800 and the Dewalt 0-2000 I've not driven anything with them yet though, they haven't left the house. The Dewalt bit moves about like a Kenwood mixer in comparison though so from a precision angle they are superior.

Should I try and open it to check drill is ok or contact festool first as I don't know if they would send me a whole unit or just the systainer
tazprime38 said:Phil, is the wobble I have on my angle chuck when fitted to drill normal? To me it seems wrong that a high spec drill would have this issue. The teeth are a loose fit rather than a tight fit which it should be. I ha e emailed festool through ebay and will see what they say.
I managed to register my drill on the website without any issues.
I doubt they're seconds they would have had to state that in the eBay discription if they were. The problem is festool ship the systainers in thin cardboard so things get damaged. A lot of dealers double the boxes up and use bubble wrap when they send them out.skinee said:Vwgolfr32 said:Got mine today but can't open systainer as lid is wrong side of plastic on lower half and if I force it lid will come off, definately been dropped. mine came the same as this and it caused damage to the systainer, the drill and RA chuck also haver minor cosmetic marks,it seems to me that this was a batch of 'seconds' and that they have decided to offload in the UK rather than their home German market, they should not have been listed as new but instead listed as 'seconds',i will be returning mine,i am disappointed.
