Sometimes I forget why this is my favorite forum. Going on some other forums for a few weeks has reminded me.

Merry Christmas guys.

Merry Christmas to you and all as well.  This time of year makes you realize all of your blessings and I am sure I speak for the group in saying we are blessed to have you here.  This place has really come around lately and I second your thoughts on how much I enjoy being here!

Hopefully Santa will bring Festools to all of us!

Merry Christmas!!!

Merry Christmas to all...

I spent the day with friends at a "shed raising". It reminded me how nice it is to have good friends and be able to help each other.

I hope all of you can find the spirit of the holidays in whatever you do...

Tom

MERRY CHRISTMAS to all, and to all a good night, and my best wishes for a healthy, happy and prosperous New Year.

I've learned more from this forum thanks to all of you who have willing to share their expertise and personal experiences, which is simply awesomely powerful.

And special thanks to Matthew, and to Festool for making this forum possible.  Matthew has worked tirelessly  (does he ever sleep or do anything else?) to setup and maintain and adapt this forum to an ever enlarging community.

Good Morning,
Here's wishing everyone a great holiday season!

There are many ways that people can contribute to a forum community.  Some of us are good with words, others work well with images, some of us are wizards with technology, or something else entirely.  What makes a community like this successful is having a variety of people, each with their own skills, generously contributing to everyone else.  I continue to be amazed by the diverse skills of our members!

Looking back on this year, it's fair to say that we've had our share of challenges.  But now that the storms have moved out, we continue to prove that it is possible to have a strong, community-driven forum, whose character and health comes from the people who make it.

It still amazes me that this "little experiment" I began on a whim a couple of years ago has blossomed so nicely.  It takes a lot to keep a forum like this going, but as long as people continue to make it work, all the effort (and occasional frustration) is worth it.

So...thank you to all the those who have shared their woodworking knowledge, their experiences, and their opinions.  Thank you to all the long-time members who have been welcoming to new members, and thank you to all the new members for joining and taking part in our community.

Looking forward to a new year!

Stay in touch,
Matthew

PS: I may be less active in posting than I used to be, but believe me I read everything that happens here.

Merry Christmas, and happy new year too. I have another ahhhhhh moment with this picture.

Its so small and simple, but does so much! I only have two full size Router Table units left and they will get even less use now.

Okay guys please use this thread to show us your gifts from Santa.

It's okay to brag!

Merry Christmas!!

OK here's my anniversary, birthday and Christmas gift from my wife.  The TV, stand and HD DVR - not the entertainment center or the dog.  We finally graduated to high definition.  :)

Have a Merry.  And thanks to Matt for his hard work and good results.  This is a great bunch, and I enjoy being a part of it.

This should be headed my way, not Green but I'll be glad to get rid of the bench top model.

I'm pretty sure there's a Sthil weed wacker (whipper-snipper for the southerners) with my name on it, hidden in my neighbor's garage.  ;D ;D ;D

MERRY CHRISTMAS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!             ("Zuzu's petals! Zuzu's petals! My mouth's bleeding! Hey Bert, my mouth's bleeding! I love you, you old savings and loan!")  :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Yes, wishing all a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah or just plain ol' Happy Holidays.

Doing the traditional Italian Christmas eve fish dinner tonight, except  tonight it's at our house! Lot's of work; mostly last minute too, but will be a wonderful time.
