WHOOOOHOOO!!! I hit the Festool Motherload for christmas :D

I got the CT26 Dust extractor for the garage (ill be getting the CT-MIDI for the van next month) RO150 random orbit sander/rotary and an accessory kit for the vacuum. I also Got an empty mini-sys, sys2 and a 4-sortainer. I also got the makita hackzall for the m12 kit and already placed them in the sys2! (ignore the horrible kitchen floor and carpeting. were remodeling the kitchen as we speak and ripping out the carpet/linoleum)

Awesome, Sal...looking forward to some pics and a review when you get a chance...this set-up looks appealing to me.

Santa Bob brought me 700mm profiles to go with my MFS 400.  Now I have both sets depending on which profiles I use and with the 700 attached to the 400, I can cut a very large circle!  I don't know if this counts but I ordered a new 1080 guiderail yesterday since I obliterated mine last week.  Had my TS 55 tipped over to 45 deg and I must not have had the base firmly on the guiderail because when I plunged the saw went right through the rail about half way down the rail.  :'( :'( :'(  I should be able to salvage about a 20" section to use when cross cutting some small boards.  Festool needs to find a solution to this issue since it is very unstable in this configuration.

I got a DTS 400 EQ and it's abrasive systainer for Christmas. I haven't put it to work yet but I'm excited to try it out. Guess it's time to shop for paper.

I was given the OF1400 but have not had the chance to try it out yet. I will do a review sometime soon.

Peter,

Since Ive been over in the sand box for about 5 mos what I wouldnt give for a great burger and some eye candy.

Oh I ran into a bunch of your countrymen today since Im traveling about.

They were very gracious and one even brought me lunch from the DFAC b/c I was on lock down and couldn't leave.

Of course none of them were United fans :>D

Nothing at all. NADA, ZIP. Guess I was on the really naughty list.

I did place an order with Tom yesterday. Not really a present, just things I needed.

(We don't exchange until our oldest daughter comes in from FL. So they are playing a late Sunday exchange. After 40 years of the same thing, I can tell you all what I will get, won't be any tools).

Tom

Nothing for Christmas.

i decided years ago that no more tools for Christmas or birthday buy them when you want or need instead.

I bought 4 systainers & 2 screwbox systainers last week though, oh & the big Milwaukee radio

An LR 32 with a holey rail (55") fell down my chimney, and the rail didn't even get bent!!!  WOO-HOO!!!  Its edge stops are already calibrated and it works great with both the OF 1010 and OF 1400.  The current project was already line-bored using my older Econo-Bore, so I need to finish this project before employing it for the next project for my son.

[smile]

No Festool this year, guess I will have to buy myself something.  Did get a few new Veritas planes.
