Thanks Greg. I will do that.GPowers said:Woodpecker shipped the saddle square, to me, in the one rate US Postal Service box. Just call them and ask them to ship US postal service.
Lots of companies will ship USPS domestically but not to Canada. Having said that, apparently Woodpeckers will ship by USPS to Canada - they just don't offer the option during the strike.GPowers said:Woodpecker shipped the saddle square, to me, in the one rate US Postal Service box. Brice Burrell said:For those waiting for these the ship date of 8/10 has come and gone, new date, early October. Bummer.
Ken Nagrod said:The issue at Woodpeckers is the economy, the company down sizing, moving manufacturing and starting production back up again. They have some issues they're working through.

I have over $1000 worth of items back ordered, more than half dating to May, and haven't seen anything other than e-mails indicating "... more delays..." etc.
Perhaps, and perhaps I made my situation worse by indicating to delay shipping until the order is complete – when shipping to Canada my experience is the fewer shipments the better. But of course that was based on estimates of shipping that have been repeatedly extended.RonWen said:Jeff Zanin said:Nice products but dreadful planning / timing / estimating / scheduling / whatever.

We must have the same items ordered & in the process... [smile] Still a quicker turn around than BCT (which I also have a few $$k in the hopper). [unsure]

The fact that other suppliers are worse doesn't really offer any comfort.
I realize estimates are just that but still, they are in the business of making tools and presumably know how long things take in terms of materials, fabrication, etc.
How can they be so far off in estimating how long it takes to make what is basically a ruler?
