Metric set-up blocks available from Woodpecker for a limited time

Make your own and stop whining or wining if you're working at a vineyard today. And I know what you're thinking, so it's good you can't say it on here!  [tongue]

You're missing the point of owning them. They work well, they look good and they'd be great tools to show to your friends which is a big part of woodworking. It's the same as having a great looking woman on your arm as you're strolling around. All the same adjectives would apply.  8)

That's the only reason I ordered them. Chicks dig setup blocks.  [big grin]

Guess I'm going to be chickless then. I only found out about the setup blocks a few weeks ago, long past buying a set of the one time production schedule.  :'(

Does Woodpecker ever run previously ended productions more than once? Anybody out there married now and can't chase women as he used to and want to sell their setup blocks?  ;)
Correction: Anybody out there who has used his setup blocks to get his woman and now doesn't need them anymore?  [laughing]

Actually, nobody has received them so no Metric setup blockz, no European chickz ('merican ones wouldn't go for Metric, though they prefer their weight in kilos :)

Woodpeckers has rerun items with slight changes when there is enough demand. You can still call up to be put on a "waiting list" for the current run if something becomes available.

For those waiting for these the ship date of 8/10 has come and gone, new date, early October.  Bummer.

Updated again, now by the end of October. [scratch chin]

My setup blocks were shipped today, about time.

Got my metric set today.  The case they came in is ridonkulous.. As in very nice.  Thought for a sec it was a mini Pelican case!

The case is great, but I was actually a little disappointed in the size - TOO BIG!  Considering what is in the case, it's really overkill and takes up a lot of space for some setup blocks.  I'm still glad I got the case as almost of my old brass setup blocks grew legs and walked off on me.

I didn'tt get any case at all.  ???

On the other hand I really like the size (they are longer than my Veritas Imperial set and I find the extra length to be a great help).

Frank, the case was an optional item for an additional cost.  I decided to pass on the case and I'm glad I did.  I like the little cardboard box and foam insert the set came with.

Also, I did some measuring with my digital calipers and the block are remarkably accurate.  Every block was .01-.02mm bigger. [thumbs up]

Thanks for cluing me in Brice.  I missed that option to buy a box so it seems that I too will be happy with the cardboard box and foam inerts.
