MFK 700 storage tip

I did a quick search and didn't see this, so just wanted to pass on what might be obvious, but just in case...

Just got my MFK 700 (thanks Bob!) and the extra 0 degree base. I didn't get the parallel guide since I figured I could use the 1400 for that. So I played around a little with the extra base and found that I could store it in the systainer in place of the parallel guide if I removed the tightening knob.

Not a life changing revelation, but just in case anyone missed it.

I hear there's some ghost towns now...

My family is from Michigan, though I've never been there. They left in the 50s because my Uncle had Rheumatic  fever (I guess they thought it was the environment back then). Mom tells me it's beautiful, but she also refuses to live anywhere that it snows now!

Also remember we import cars from there.... well that is what the ads say....  I'm thinking that Ontario annexed them a few years back and we didn't notice.
