MFT/3-VL compatibility with MFT 1080

I have friend who just called and said that he was at a yard sale and there was a Festo Basis Plus with a saw and saw module there for $100, would I be interested. I said grab it.

I understand that it is the same height, will attach to my MFT1080 and will accept the current CMS-OF module for my OF2200.

As I am waiting for delivery I can't confirm but I think that the fitted saw is probably an ATF55 and would like to know whether there is any web based manual or user guide for the saw and the Basis Plus.

I really like the solution you came up with the 1080 and the VL extra, cool.
Looks really good and solid.

But your remarks about the incompatibility raised an eye brow here [eek]

No mention anywhere on the Festool site about this incompatibility !!  Very disgusted with Festool right now. 

LOL, if festool also needed to mention what tool is not compatibel with any other tool or extra the catalogue for 2105 would weigh a ton and impossible to read.

Don't worry. My disgust has faded since I worked out the solution.

I have had a look, and attached is the parts diagram - may be useful may be not.
    I will look in the morning for a paper copy of the manual and copy and post here. EKAT normally holds electronic copies but possibly due to this item being discontinued some time back this is not available.
