Hello,
First of all I want to say thanks for all the comments and great info on my first post when I was thinking on building a "sled" type table for my TS-55. I have realized (by the comments) that's a bad Idea [blink] and I need to go a different route so now thinking of going/purchasing a full blown MFT/3.

My only concerns is that it looks a little too shaky for me, even in the video reviews I can see it is really unsteady. I'm also 6'-5" so I want it a little taller to help with the old back.

Plan would be to build a table/cart for the MFT which I see a lot have done.

Does anyone have a STEP file or 3D model I can use to import into Autodesk Inventor to model up my cart. I see lots of people have a 3D model of it within their modeled cart assembly but in a google search I can't find any shared links of one.

I could model one up but if one is available that'd be great. [wink]

Thanks everyone.

I have the SKP file (SketchUp) for my MFT-style workbench.  The only components I didn't add when I made the SketchUp version were the wheels, drawer slides for the Systainer trays, and the two side drawers.  I couldn't find a model for the wheels and didn't know exactly where I was going to locate each slide out tray.

Since documenting my workbench here, I received over a dozen requests for the SketchUp file and parts list from the aluminum extrusion vendor.  I am happy to share these files to anyone who sends me their email address in a private message.

I use the free version of SketchUp (Make 2017), which can't export DWG or DXF files.  If anyone wants the SKP file for a different CADD program, it will be up to them to find a way to make the conversion.

Here's a screenshot from SketchUp of my workbench.

I built a cart to go under my MFT (its an MFT1080, not an MFT/3 but they're pretty close). Here are photos of the front and back of the unit:

I have a Sketchup file for the main cabinet and the Systainer trays (the drawers are constructed just like the Systainer trays except for being taller.. Sketchup can export to various file fomats - not sure about STEP as I don't use those products. Let me know if you can use any of my Sketchup models.
