A month or two ago, I thought I saw a post on FOG about someone who built their MFT on an adjustable bench.  In that thread, someone else showed an MFT they built on a scissors lift table.

I just bought a scissors lift table and now I can't find that particular post.

Anyone recall seeing it?  Might I have seen it at FWW or Sawmill Creek?

The post I'm looking for had pics of the MFT on the adust-a-bench and pics of the MFT on the scissors life table.

I think what you might be looking for is a picture of a large shop made MFT mounted on a Harbor Freight motor cycle lift table.  "Back When" someone posted pictures on the old Yahoo FOG.  I'm sorry I can't remember or give credit to "who's large MFT" this was...

It was athttp://festoolownersgroup.com/index.php?topic=797.0 where Cary Swoveland showed a picture of his Noden Adjust-A-Bench base and MFT top, and then allen_petty showed some pictures of his bench, which was mounted on a hydraulic scissor lift he got on eBay. The title of the thread was "Large, adjustable-height MFT" and the first message appeared in the General Discussions forum on 2 May 2007.

Forrest,
Thanks for rooting out that link.  I was just about to go search for it myself!

While we're on this subject, has anyone seen the hydraulic tables sold at Harbor Freight?  They sell two versions.  I'm not sure if they are similar to the tables we're discussing here, but I'd be interested in hearing what people here have to say about them.

Here's one (500 lb):http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=94822

And here's the other one (1000 lb):http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=93116

Stay in touch,
Matthew

For a little more deluxe version, there are several reviewed in woodshop news (July) which coincidentally just arrived today.  Check out southworthproducts.com.

This is what I got from e-bay.  Winning bid was $69, shipping was a little over $300.  It's from a company called optimalhandling.com.  The actual table for bid was model LM24-15.  The LM24-10 only has a 500 lb capacity.

NEW Handle-It Manual Scissor Lift

    * Model LM24-10
    * 1,000 lb capacity
    * 5.5" lowered height
    * 29.5" maximum raised height
    * 24" x 36" platform size
    * Raises 1" per stroke
