Mft sysport build.

This is inspired by the design the guy from garage journal [member=63929]AtomicRyan[/member].

It is partially done.  I will start building drawers and pull out shelves for systainers and such as I get time and before the weather turns for the worst. Also have to put casters on it

It is painted with general finishes milk paint and general finishes high performance topcoat. (Nice products to work with too)

Now I just need to figure out how to get the legs off of my mft/3

Cool project.  If you want to get the legs off, look at the 4 black knobs.  Find the seam.  Look for a small recessed area.  Pry open.  Wrench away.

Nice. I'm thinking about building practically the same for a while.
Just undecided if I should put some blocks below the MFT feet (to get enough room to clamp from below) or if I should buy some more Bessey toggle clamps (and their STC-SET-T20 to attach them in the MFT holes)...

Good job!  I just made one too. I decided to build three bays for systainers and used face frames so it's about 11" longer than the MFT. I needed the storage and hope the extra space on top will relieve the clutter on the working top or extra out feed for the cross cutting. I removed the legs. It's cleaner and feels great to have a solid work top. I've gained a lot of storage in a footprint only slightly larger than my MFT. Pics when I'm done.
