With our $ (canadian) starting to show its teeth, I'm planing to buy 2 MFT tables. I already have the old domino, TS55, CT22, sanders etc..

First of all, what is the size of the box since i'm planing to pick those up with my car, I have to be sure its gonna fit in ??

Also, my current list is composed of these parts :

1 MFT/3 (575$) with the MFT clamp set (180$)
1 MFT Basic (375$)

I guess I need also the 2 connectors to connect these 2 tables together but is that it ? Is there anything else I need to "build" that festoolian workstation ?

Thank you very much

Alex

The MFT/3 comes in a box with the following dimensions: 49 x 33 x 10 inches.

Shane,

Thank you for the info. I can put anything that is 48'' wide in my trunk so if i tilt that box i'm sure it would be fine. My other option would be to remove the tables from their boxes and put those directly in the trunk.. or even on the back seats.

Cheers,

Alex

My mft3 was drop shipped in several boxes on a pallet. I hope you have a real car or something with folding rear seats. I don't think a Honda is going to make it.
I'd also suggest looking at the clamping elements. Good luck on your trip.

I don't have the mft/3 but i seem to remember another thread about having to add the diagonal braces to steady the table up for any serious work.
