After following advice on this forum I have become a fan of MGH chisels. I was getting them from Fine Tools in Germany. Good people with good service. However recently the shipping charges to the U.S. have gone off the chart. Does anyone know somewhere here I can get them?

The butt chisels are great for chopping tasks when you use them in a sitting position. Regular chisels are simply too long for that purpose. As far as I know, only British-trained Ian Kirby has the habit of chopping his dovetails sitting (may be David Charlesworth, too?). This way, for my age, I can work hours at a time without bending or tiring myself.
