mini auto mode stopped working

I have a mini dust extractor.  Today the auto function stopped working.  I tried multiple tools with no luck.  I tried turning it off.  I tried unplugging it.  Nothing.  The manual mode works fine.

Any suggestions on what I should do?  Is there a way to replace whatever component is possibly broken?  I saw some people comment that it might need to get sent in but I’d really rather not do that.  It’s also past its warranty.

If you dont want to send it in or cant fix it yourself than you could use one of these.  I use a shop vac that I have ran 2" pvc from a shed into the shop for use with the small hand tools sanders, domino, etc and I use one of these to trigger the shop vac it works great and have been using it since February. I actually like it better than the auto switch on my CT as I can adjust the shut off time of the auto off.  If I notice Im doing a task and the vac is cycling a lot and can adjust the time.  We had a discussion here before about this.  The auto shut off time on the CT seems to be right around the length of time it takes to stop reposition for a cut or set down a sander flip/reposition a part.  Cutting on a miterbox I noticed it for sure and sanding larger items ( not small parts) but bigger panels or such just about the time I was ready to fire up the tool again the CT would be winding down and then have to immediately ramp back up.  Some claim its fine and is at most just an annoyance.  I think it would be way better if Festool had an extra dial to adjust the shutoff timer like they have for adjusting the filter clean on the AC models.
