I finally got a break between jobs in the shop and was able to replace my old miter saw stand. The old stand was a quick build to fit in my last shop and when I moved to the new shop it went because I was swamped and it worked just fine. Now it is on a metal frame and wheels to make moving it a breeze instead of a chore to clean around and under.
Along with being a stable platform for the miter saw, I wanted a place for the kreg foreman and for my small drill press. I also wanted the machines to all be hooked up to dust collection as the rest of my machines are already. The miter saw and drill press are both hooked up to a shop vac and rockler seperator. The foreman is on its own vacuum, a small buckethead vac from home depot is plenty for it.
It is not anywhere near done. Later I will add a back wall and some shelves, but for now it adds more storage and frees up some space on my outfeed table.[attachimg=1]

Like it a lot!  [smile]

Especially the integration of the Kreg Foreman. Is that on a pullout tray or something? Why the handle where it sits?

Good eye! Yes, the foreman is on a pull out so if I have a long piece that needs to go the length of the stand it can and the miter saw or drill press wont be in the way.
