I have come up with quick, easy, and cheap answer. I don't own a TS-75 but I think it will work on it also.
Grab your Limit Stop (491 582) and remove the thumb screw. Place a 1/2 inch washer between the Limit Stop and thumb screw. The washer needs a center hole of 9/16 inch and outside diameter of about 1 3/8 inch. I used a galvanized washer that was sitting around. Put the thumb screw back in.

Put the limit Stop in the rail so most of the body sticks off the rail. Leave the thumb screw loose so it can slide in the track. Install the saw on the rail by tilting the saw so it's table will slide underneath the washer. Slide the Limit Stop towards the back of the saw. The limit stop will now prevent your saw from falling. There is still about 1/32 inch of play between the washer and the table of the saw. You could glue a shim onto the washer or the saw and use this while making your cut.
